“ Had dinner with my son tonight at Napa Sonoma. I ordered the shrimp and mango salad and he ordered the chicken southwest salad. Both were great! Staff is always friendly and service was great! ”
“ This is one of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch in Reno. We chose it for a 1:00 pm birthday lunch for my mom. They had our table set up and ready. Waitress was great. Got everyone who wanted one a drink. Took our order promptly. Menu recently changed, and those of us who are old regulars not so pleased. Someone of our favorites were gone. My mom, daughter and I always loved the short rib sandwich and it was gone. Too bad, it was a highlight on menu. Apps were just fine, and I tried the fish and chips, pretty darn good! My daughter and niece had salmon and both said it was dry and over cooked and bland. Another niece had ahi salad and loved it, my sister and brother in law had Loui salads and said they were tasty. Wine was nice. Mom had a turkey Rueben and said okay. My brother had a pear and prosciutto pizza that he didn't like. No sauce at all which made it very dry. He ended up finishing up appetizers and staff gave him a house salad which he liked a lot. Overall, food was a C+\B- on Saturday but service and overall experience was its usual B+/A. I think we'll keep coming back for Sunday breakfast but not sure about the menu changes at lunch, so we'll have to think about that. There are a lot of choices in Reno and menu feels more mainstream now. I liked the quirks like the short rib sandwich, pozole soup etc. Overall a very nice meal and restaurant. Staff is beyond first rate. They really do a great job and all are so friendly and helpful. If you want a consistently good experience, this place is it. Nice place to pick up gift and wine baskets and Nevada made food gifts. I highly recommend the place ”
“ New menu, same good food and great service. A nice place to grab a bite, watch the game and play a little. The chicken pot pie highly recommend. It wound be nice if they would turn up the volume during the game. ”
“ It was during the Davis Creek Fire that we decided to go out to dinner as our power was out. Both my wife and I are really happy we stopped into Napa Sonoma. We were greeted at the door as though they were genuinely happy to see us. We shimmied up to the bar and was greeted again by the bar tender. She handed us a pair of menus and asked if we wanted something to drink. We went with a reasonably priced bottle of Chardonnay and ordered some food. As we waited, we looked around and noticed how nicely decorated the place was and wondered to ourselves as to why we waited so long to come back. Then the food came and we doubly questioned ourselves. My Napa burger was excellent and my wife's pizza was great as well. Will definitely not wait the long to go back again. ”
“ Cute wine bar and "grocery" although I would expect much in he way of groceries outside of cool wine related gifts. Service was prompt and friendly. Real grape vines out front. I enjoyed the Ahi appetizer and braised short ribs. They were both excellent. ”
“ Happy hour say what!! Originally we came to celebrate our anniversary but accidentally stumbled upon the last hour of happy hour specials. The tuna with like this mango salsa was Devine. In season fruits and fresh tasting tuna. The flatbread pizza was not our favorite but we really enjoyed the meal we had. Burger was cooked perfectly and my braised short rib was soft and tasty. We didn't have reservations so we had to sit in the tent area which was fine for me and my wife. Overall a pretty good experience and pretty great service. Just the flatbread pizza was a miss for us. We will be back again! 4.4/5 stars ”
“ Great food and wine! I love the ambience of the restaurant, we sat inside but the garage-like doors were open so we still got to soak up the sun. Service was great! ”
“ Went for brunch this morning.Their weekend brunch has a fabulous menu. They have bottomless mimosas but I only had one cause I was driving. Our waitress Jennifer was friendly and patient--huge menus take time! I ordered the California Veggie Benedict with their famous rosemary potatoes! Excellent and huge- potatoes and rye toast went home--Benedict's don't reheat well and they were too good to waste. Do yourself a favor when you want to treat yourself--come here! ”
“ Always a good stop. Consistent food quality. Always great service. Nicole, the bartender, is a sweetheart and makes mouth watering cocktails. She puts a lot of attention and detail. Look at that espresso martini!! Some of our favorite dishes are the Supreme Skillet, albóndigas soup, pozole, ahí salad, chicken pot pie, avocado toast. Family friendly atmosphere. Wine by the glass or they have a great bottle selection. ”
